MASSAGE THERAPY / MYOTHERAPY

Massage Therapy is the practice of influencing soft tissue for the purpose of improving physical (tissue manipulation), functional and also psychological (relaxation) wellbeing by accredited professionals.

Myotherapy is a form of physiotherapy that focuses on the treatment and prevention of soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons of the human body) pain and restricted joint mobility using a range of techniques (remedial massage, trigger point therapy, corrective exercises, joint mobilisation, cupping, relaxation massage, pregnancy massage and dry needling).

About the Program

Our remedial massage therapist, Lauryn Brockwell, has recently completed a Bachelor of Health Science – Myotherapy. In order to provide the best results for musculoskeletal health, Lauryn uses a combination of myotherapy and remedial massage techniques.
