Louisa completed the Doctor of Physiotherapy program at the University of Melbourne and has experience not only in private practice physiotherapy, but also in the hospital setting. Louisa was a competitive tennis player during her teenage years and has suffered from many injuries, which made her a frequent visitor to the physios. Her elite level sports experience and undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University, strongly influence her rehabilitation style and exercise prescription.
Louisa has an interest in musculoskeletal injuries, especially those involving the lower back, shoulder, and knee. She is also interested in chronic pain management and women’s health pre and postpartum. She strongly believes in combining manual therapy and exercise to deliver the most optimal outcome for the patients, and that physios play a significant role in filling the knowledge gaps for patients, thereby empowering them to make the best health decisions.
When not in the clinic, Louisa likes travelling and unlocking new activities such as skydiving and scuba diving. If she is staying local, you will probably find Louisa outdoors hiking, checking out new cafes and restaurants, or staying at home cooking up a feast for her friends and family because she loves her food.
Louisa is available for consultation at our Berwick and Pakenham Lakeside clinics.
